      Shamanic Fans

Most of my fans are made from birds which have gifted themselves to me whilst I have been out walking or driving, for which I am grateful, allowing the spirit of the bird to live on. The remains are buried  and sent in beauty. The wings and tails are dried out using traditional Native American techniques and then washed. I also use clients own feathers and after due discussion set them as required. I use wood or selenite for the handles into which small crystals can be set.

Shamanic Swan Feather Fan In Maple
I made this for a client who collected the feathers over a series of months whilst out running by a river. There are 14 feathers in the fan which are mounted in a carved maple handle and set with a single moonstone.
